Two years ago I had the idea for izzi club. I didn’t know exactly what it was going to be but I knew I wanted to create something for fans of my music that was more than just a fan club. I wanted it to feel like you were sitting with me and my friends at dinner, chatting about the latest label drama, or in a writing session trading stories. The amount of times I’ve yelled “Don’t Sign That!” at other artists seems to need it’s own place on the internet.

Since then I’ve moved from Sydney to San Francisco with my family so my husband can pursue his dream of saving the internet, The Preatures have reformed (you can follow the updates here), and I’m continuing to write, record, tour, and be a parent.

Izzi club is the place I’ll explore the things I’m compelled by and obsessed with: artists’ business and the business of art, what does ‘making it’ even mean anyway, the specificity of place and landscape in music, criticism and complaining as a way of celebrating life (so Italian), and gossip. Really good gossip.
